We want to make your visit to our house a complete and memorable experience, that’s why every detail of our hotel was designed to highlight the charm of the yesteryear houses, preserving our cultural heritage and the passage of time while offering all modern amenities, comfort and technology.

The name of our House was inspired by the CEDRELA ODORATA, better known as “Cedar”, a tree belonging to the Meliaceae family and widely found in this region of Southwest Antioquia (it grows between 10 meters above sea level and 2700 meters above sea level)

A very fine wood tree, resistant to pests, with a beautiful color and hardness, makes it very desirable for construction activities, cabinetmaking, carpentry, among others.
Unfortunately, being widely distributed has not saved this species from constant forestry exploitation (in most cases illegal), whose situation has led the Cedrela Odorata to the category of “Endangered Species”.

We are inspired by this tree and its precious wood, which has endured over time for several generations, to pay tribute to the heritage of our ancestors, to the traditions and the importance of returning to the origin.

Let’s take care of this wonderful tree that has also lent us its name for our boutique hotel.
